Osmanthus / Tea Olive
Fortune's Tea Olive is a hybrid between O. heterophyllus and O. fragrans. It is a dense, oval-rounded evergreen shrub and can be easily restrained at any height. The small flowers are exceedingly fragrant and are produced in October or November when there are few fragrant flowers in the landscape. It is more cold-hardy than O. fragrans and can tolerate full sun or partial shade.
