ScientificName:
Quercus hemisphaerica
Common Name:
Darlington Oak This oak is closely related to Laurel Oak, but does not tolerate heavy soils as well. It is evergreen in southern regions where it is a native and has a dense, broad pyramidal to dome shape. The small leaves are dark glossy green and can be variably shaped, but typically are oblong and diamond-shaped.
