Autumn Blaze' Red Maple This maple is a hybrid between Acer rubrum & Acer saccharinum. It grows much faster than other Acer rubrum cultivars and is more drought tolerant. Autumn Blaze has one of the best and longest fall color displays available in the south. It is more resistant to leafhopper and other insects due to it's rapid growth. Mature height is 45-50 feet.
