Allee Elm Allee Elm is an upright-spreading tree similar in shape to American Elm. The bark exfoliates in a puzzle-like pattern exposing light gray and orange brown colors. The lustrous green leaves create a dense canopy and turn to a subdued yellow in fall. This tree can withstand drought and is highly resistant to Dutch Elm disease.
